Lipstick 💕👄💄

I recently got given a Rimmel lipstick by Kate moss, and I tried it out for the first time the other night.

I simply adore the colour, application and pigmentation on my lips. It gives a full coverage with a couple of applications and brightens up my look.

Now I'm a pretty pale person but this coral colour suits every skin tone in my opinion.
I am also pretty fussy with lipstick brands but this one is lovely and affordable, I shall definitely be investing in a few different shades.

My colour is number 16 Rossetto. I would love to know what other colours look good on!

Today I have officially signed up for my very own Glossy Box!! I am SO excited!

Hair dye problems

I am a natural blonde, but I have been dying my hair for years. I wouldn't know my natural shade now even if it walked up and smacked me in the face.

I LOVE light blonde, the blonder the better in my book! After countless years of trial and error, too yellow, too orange, too dark, I have finally found the shade I love! All thanks to garnier olia hair dye. It's cheap, brilliant colouring and has a variety of shades and colours to choose from. I use 10.1 light ash blonde and sometimes 10.0 light blonde.

To achieve the best light pale blonde I have discovered is simple if you stick to these few rules;

1. Always always always buy a light shade that knocks out brassy yellow/orange tones, usually an ash blonde does this.

2. Buy a blue/purple shampoo to keep the blonde pale and interesting. But NEVER use it after first dying, the colour will seep into your hair and give it a purple/blue tinge (If this does happen baby shampoo works wonders after a fair few washes) unless this is the colour you want then avoid washing it in blue shampoo until you have washed your hair at least once and then every 3rd or 4th wash.

3. If going light for the first time you will need to start at a slightly darker shade and build your way up. Make sure you test your hair strand every time, not all makes and colours work on everyone's hair you will have to find one that suits you.

4. If you have brown hair then I would advise to ask a stylist first on how to proceed. Unless it says so on the box you usually have to wait until you are a lighter shade.

These are all the tips I can think of right now but if you have any or any questions just comment below!

Tattoo Taboo

This year I bit the bullet and got myself my first tattoo. It was small, understated and really a first draft on the blank canvas that is my body.

My friend and I were feeling restless and a little wild so on a whim went and got matching hearts on the back of our necks.

Yep it was cliche and adorable all at the same time. But it gave me the tattoo bug, and a couple of months later I went back and got a geometric lotus flower which I absolutely adore.

With all the negative vibes from everyone about tattoos and how the word is taboo in my parents eyes, I really don't see the big deal. It's just artwork on your body and something I did when I was young carefree and fun. If I find something I love again then I certainly will be acquiring more in my life, I do what I want with my body.

I admire everyone who has the balls to actually ink themselves with expression.

love it, end of.

What are your views on tattoos? Love? Hate? No preference?

Soap & Glory - Super beauty more like!!

Heyyyyy guys!

Sorry its been a few days! I've had a busy week at uni so far! Lots & lots of assignments due in! Having a right old mare! Anywho enough with my waffle! Lets get down to business ;)

Today my review is on Soap & Glory's Amaze products!! Now I was a tad skeptical at buying these products, what with sooo many brands out their claiming to all do the same thing but at various prices, so i was expecting what with Soap & Glorys slightly more expensive price tag, that they would be another 'claim' product, than actual result product!

Boy was i WRONG! I bought these two from boots using my advantage points card as i had saved up a large amount of points:

The first being "the Fab Pore Facial Peel" -  £8

Which says it 'has an intensive pore refining action with our exclusive PORESHRINK-R COMPLEX. Ideal for greasy, spot prone or problem skin, or for a strategic attack on misbehaving T-Zone.'

Now in my opinion it actually does what it says on the tin, provided your apply onto clean skin free of makeup (don't want that clogging your pores whilst your trying to cleanse them!) it's like a mini facial, you have to rub in all the micro blue beads so that it releases its magic formulae! I usually leave mine on for 15 mins whilst I'm in the bath as the steam helps it sink right in! It feels all tingly and you can feel it working deep down. Once washed off i get a lovely fresh feeling rejuvenated skin! I use it about 2 − 4 times a week depending on how much time i have! It works! Take it for someone with manky spot prone skin, it helps to clear them up! FAB product! Well worth the money!

The next product from Soap & Glory is their "PEACHES AND CLEAN" 4 in 1 Wash off deep cleansing milk - £7

Which they say 'Our special clogged T-Zone formula includes peach extract (with skin smoothing fruit acids), quillaja bark (a gentle natural 'soap'), jojoba oil (an emollient skin softener), Detoxyboost technology (to help purify and deep clean) and Poreshrink R2 (for a clearer, fresher, brighter complexion).

My opinion again it does what is says on the tin! Not only does this smell absolutely gorgeous (I actually feel like eating it sometimes, i have to stop myself ;) - yes I am slightly weird) it actually gets rid of all your makeup and makes my skin soft and silky to touch! Definitely a super buy!

I apply it usually morning and evening - morning to get rid of my build up of dirt overnight (my skin looks very greasy in the mornings - probably because i over moisturise) and to wake me up! (believe me i need it!) Evening - I do apply it twice in the evening - once to get the make up off and once to clean deep down. (As i feel dirty going to sleep with any makeup on! Your skin needs to breathe people!!!) It is an AMAZE product and its safe to use everyday! trust me when you use it once you will be hooked!!

You can buy these HERE or at any Boots outlet! (if you buy online your sure to get the product you want as they aren't all in Boots stores)

I am DEFO going to try their other products!  SO enough of my beauty ramblings for one evening!

Has anyone tried their make up products yet?! Im dying to try?!

Do you have any super Soap & Glory buys that you think are Amaze?

Hope your all having a lovely tuesday eve! (NEARLY MIDWEEK GUYS!!)

XOXO

Weekend Treats!!

Now its friday, the weekend can begin!

I have had a very busy week at uni, with deadlines and presentations! So i decided to buy myself a treat, whilst picking up some chocolates for my step fathers birthday!

I find it so hard when i am in Thorntons to not buy myself some chocolate, because everything looks so yummy!  (I managed to refrain from the larger box) They were delicious by the way! I didn't regret it one little bit! :)

These are my other favourite treats for when i am having a naughty day!

A Rocky Road Cupcake from Costa - these are the best cupcakes i have tried (so far) and i just LOVE the little marshmallow decorations!

A Hot chocolate from Costa - So yummy! (The mint choc ones in winter are to DIE for)

And yes this just had to be on my list! (you guessed it Costa again) a Double Chocolate Flake Creamy Cooler - basically like a milkshake but nicer and with cream and real flake pieces yum!

What are your guilty pleasures/treats?!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Amazing Jewellry

Now my birthday was back in September but i got sooo many gorgeous presents that i just had to share them with you! Now it was my 21st soo i did request jewellery (indulgent of me) here are the lovely pics! (sorry about the crap quality, my camera is broke!)

I got this beautiful pandora necklace off my mom, I absolutely love the stone and the setting, the chain is also very pretty!

I got a lovely pearl Thomas Sabo bracelet with a pink flip flop on! Which i absolutely adore and have wanted one for sooo long! This was off my two besties my twin sis and my close friend! I never take it off! (apart from sleeping, showering and work as i don't want it to get ruined!)

Next is my precious pearl earrings from my gorgeous friends (which was a massive surprise! I am usually a control freak about my presents! But this was a lovely surprise!)

I received another pandora bracelet from my dad (i already have the silver style with numerous charms, can you tell i'm a fan?) this time a double twist style. (and theres my new ipod i desperately needed as my songs wouldn't all fit on my previous!)

Lastly from my gorgeous boyfriend I wanted the black stone ring (below) but these rings are stackable and my boyfriend is so lovely and generous he told me to pick two more!

I love all my birthday gifts and defiantly couldn't choose a favourite!  whats your favourite present?

Beyonce - My Biggest Girl Crush Ever!

I thought today i would share with you all my favourite lady in the world! As you can tell from the title it is Beyonce Knowles! I think she is the most inspiring/Amazing woman in the world! I used to love her in destinys child, but since they split and she became solo that is when my crush evolved!

Here is looking fabulous (as usual)

Haha now i have a boyfriend and im not into girls and never have been (although my momma suspected it once when i was younger and i hung some posters up of singers who were women) now i love woman because they are empowering and amazing creatures unlike men who think they are the superior sex (hardly) and have a right in this world to be equal and as successful as men!
Now i shall tell you why Beyonce is my idol.

Queen B, is such an amazing woman both in beauty and personality, she is very kind (I've never met her but from all the interviews/concerts/tv appearances she seems it) charitable, amazing to fans (just go see her videos on her youtube channel to see what she does) successful, empowering, doesn't even need to seek out publicity, keeps her personal life private, has the most incredible voice in all the world, has an ALL female band (go B!) takes girl power seriously! and to top it all off is married, expecting a baby and earns a bucket load of dollar!

Anywhoo after all that rambling and soppy shite, i decided to do this post today because i absolutely adore make up etc and Queen B always looks flawless, she recently admitted that she does her own make up everyday and in her videos! Saying that she did her own in her video 'why don't you love me.' so i have complied a few photos of her looking AMAZE!

Queen B I will always faithfully admire you!

XOXO
