Soap & Glory - Super beauty more like!!

Heyyyyy guys!

Sorry its been a few days! I've had a busy week at uni so far! Lots & lots of assignments due in! Having a right old mare! Anywho enough with my waffle! Lets get down to business ;)

Today my review is on Soap & Glory's Amaze products!! Now I was a tad skeptical at buying these products, what with sooo many brands out their claiming to all do the same thing but at various prices, so i was expecting what with Soap & Glorys slightly more expensive price tag, that they would be another 'claim' product, than actual result product!

Boy was i WRONG! I bought these two from boots using my advantage points card as i had saved up a large amount of points:

The first being "the Fab Pore Facial Peel" -  £8

Which says it 'has an intensive pore refining action with our exclusive PORESHRINK-R COMPLEX. Ideal for greasy, spot prone or problem skin, or for a strategic attack on misbehaving T-Zone.'

Now in my opinion it actually does what it says on the tin, provided your apply onto clean skin free of makeup (don't want that clogging your pores whilst your trying to cleanse them!) it's like a mini facial, you have to rub in all the micro blue beads so that it releases its magic formulae! I usually leave mine on for 15 mins whilst I'm in the bath as the steam helps it sink right in! It feels all tingly and you can feel it working deep down. Once washed off i get a lovely fresh feeling rejuvenated skin! I use it about 2 − 4 times a week depending on how much time i have! It works! Take it for someone with manky spot prone skin, it helps to clear them up! FAB product! Well worth the money!

The next product from Soap & Glory is their "PEACHES AND CLEAN" 4 in 1 Wash off deep cleansing milk - £7

Which they say 'Our special clogged T-Zone formula includes peach extract (with skin smoothing fruit acids), quillaja bark (a gentle natural 'soap'), jojoba oil (an emollient skin softener), Detoxyboost technology (to help purify and deep clean) and Poreshrink R2 (for a clearer, fresher, brighter complexion).

My opinion again it does what is says on the tin! Not only does this smell absolutely gorgeous (I actually feel like eating it sometimes, i have to stop myself ;) - yes I am slightly weird) it actually gets rid of all your makeup and makes my skin soft and silky to touch! Definitely a super buy!

I apply it usually morning and evening - morning to get rid of my build up of dirt overnight (my skin looks very greasy in the mornings - probably because i over moisturise) and to wake me up! (believe me i need it!) Evening - I do apply it twice in the evening - once to get the make up off and once to clean deep down. (As i feel dirty going to sleep with any makeup on! Your skin needs to breathe people!!!) It is an AMAZE product and its safe to use everyday! trust me when you use it once you will be hooked!!

You can buy these HERE or at any Boots outlet! (if you buy online your sure to get the product you want as they aren't all in Boots stores)

I am DEFO going to try their other products!  SO enough of my beauty ramblings for one evening!

Has anyone tried their make up products yet?! Im dying to try?!

Do you have any super Soap & Glory buys that you think are Amaze?

Hope your all having a lovely tuesday eve! (NEARLY MIDWEEK GUYS!!)

XOXO

Weekend Treats!!

Now its friday, the weekend can begin!

I have had a very busy week at uni, with deadlines and presentations! So i decided to buy myself a treat, whilst picking up some chocolates for my step fathers birthday!

I find it so hard when i am in Thorntons to not buy myself some chocolate, because everything looks so yummy!  (I managed to refrain from the larger box) They were delicious by the way! I didn't regret it one little bit! :)

These are my other favourite treats for when i am having a naughty day!

A Rocky Road Cupcake from Costa - these are the best cupcakes i have tried (so far) and i just LOVE the little marshmallow decorations!

A Hot chocolate from Costa - So yummy! (The mint choc ones in winter are to DIE for)

And yes this just had to be on my list! (you guessed it Costa again) a Double Chocolate Flake Creamy Cooler - basically like a milkshake but nicer and with cream and real flake pieces yum!

What are your guilty pleasures/treats?!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Amazing Jewellry

Now my birthday was back in September but i got sooo many gorgeous presents that i just had to share them with you! Now it was my 21st soo i did request jewellery (indulgent of me) here are the lovely pics! (sorry about the crap quality, my camera is broke!)

I got this beautiful pandora necklace off my mom, I absolutely love the stone and the setting, the chain is also very pretty!

I got a lovely pearl Thomas Sabo bracelet with a pink flip flop on! Which i absolutely adore and have wanted one for sooo long! This was off my two besties my twin sis and my close friend! I never take it off! (apart from sleeping, showering and work as i don't want it to get ruined!)

Next is my precious pearl earrings from my gorgeous friends (which was a massive surprise! I am usually a control freak about my presents! But this was a lovely surprise!)

I received another pandora bracelet from my dad (i already have the silver style with numerous charms, can you tell i'm a fan?) this time a double twist style. (and theres my new ipod i desperately needed as my songs wouldn't all fit on my previous!)

Lastly from my gorgeous boyfriend I wanted the black stone ring (below) but these rings are stackable and my boyfriend is so lovely and generous he told me to pick two more!

I love all my birthday gifts and defiantly couldn't choose a favourite!  whats your favourite present?

Beyonce - My Biggest Girl Crush Ever!

I thought today i would share with you all my favourite lady in the world! As you can tell from the title it is Beyonce Knowles! I think she is the most inspiring/Amazing woman in the world! I used to love her in destinys child, but since they split and she became solo that is when my crush evolved!

Here is looking fabulous (as usual)

Haha now i have a boyfriend and im not into girls and never have been (although my momma suspected it once when i was younger and i hung some posters up of singers who were women) now i love woman because they are empowering and amazing creatures unlike men who think they are the superior sex (hardly) and have a right in this world to be equal and as successful as men!
Now i shall tell you why Beyonce is my idol.

Queen B, is such an amazing woman both in beauty and personality, she is very kind (I've never met her but from all the interviews/concerts/tv appearances she seems it) charitable, amazing to fans (just go see her videos on her youtube channel to see what she does) successful, empowering, doesn't even need to seek out publicity, keeps her personal life private, has the most incredible voice in all the world, has an ALL female band (go B!) takes girl power seriously! and to top it all off is married, expecting a baby and earns a bucket load of dollar!

Anywhoo after all that rambling and soppy shite, i decided to do this post today because i absolutely adore make up etc and Queen B always looks flawless, she recently admitted that she does her own make up everyday and in her videos! Saying that she did her own in her video 'why don't you love me.' so i have complied a few photos of her looking AMAZE!

Queen B I will always faithfully admire you!

Fantastic Foundation Finally!!!

OMG I cannot believe it people!! I have actually found the PERFECT foundation that is cost effective!!

Since i was 15 years old i have faithfully used clinique superbalance foundation, which in it's defence has had a staying power on my combination/oily skin. Although i found that usually by the end of the day i would get a sheeny shiny face - EVERY girls nightmare! (not the lovely dewy look, i mean the minging shiny sweaty look! - BLEUGH) It would also wear off, but out of all the brands i had tried (which was ALOT) it was the best and made me look like i had beautiful skin (even if it was only for a few hours)

Anyway putting away the violins now (haha) on friday i stumbled across Revlon Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin on tanya burrs youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/pixi2woo
which is a full coverage foundation (perfect for my skin hooraaay) which you can also get in normal/dry skin, it comes in a variety of colours excellent for my pale complexion!

Anyway I was very wary trying this foundation (like all the others before i expected a fail) but to my amazement it was fabulous! my skin looked flawless (like i had no blemishes ever!) it had staying power that could rival a stone wall in a storm and i hardly had any sheeny shiny skin at all! I even tested it today doing a presentation which i definitely get nervous and hot around the collar (and face) so if there was anyway to tempt the sheeny shiny skin to come out it would 100% be then!

so i am absolutely 1200% converted and for half the price of clinique! Fantastic! I hope you all find this review helpful!

adios amigos!

XOXOXO

Zap those Zits!!

I suffer from 'problem' skin, i say 'problem' because i have skin that loves to breed alot of spots. It can't be classed as acne because there aren't that many spots, but there aren't so few that it can be classed as a breakout.

What i suffer from is a 'breakout' of spots but 100 percent of the time! I have tried every brand that boots/superdrug/supermarket can offer and nothing works! They seem to have gotten worse this year even though i am out of my teens! (sadly)

They mainly collect around my mouth (the hardest part to hide because people are drawn to it when you talk) I have quite successfully been able to cover them up with my clinique foundation which has sufficient covering but you can still see the outline (unfortunately)

Until about a month ago i was browsing online and came across Quinoderm Face Wash (from amazon,so cheap!!) which is a face wash that has a concentrated formula which removes dirt/grease from the pores and helps kill the bacteria which causes spots an pimples. Apply morning an night and i will guarantee you that it works! It can leave your skin a little dried out but nothing moisturiser cant help! I have not come across any other face wash that actually does what it says!

Along with that i came across Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5 which is AMAZING! its a Benzoyl peroxide which has an antibacterial and a peeling effect - which at first it can really dry out your skin (just dont apply too much on the spot) and apply at night, in the morning you can actually peel off the layer and the spot goes right with it! fantastic!! but dont use more than once a day as it can make your skin really sore and seem like you have just had a chemical face peel!

Anyway thats my fantastic spot rememdies!!! I can honestly say i will never use anything else! I only use the 2.5% as i dont have acne and i have sensitive skin, i also wouldnt recommend useing a higher dosage unless you get a doctors advice, im just saying what works for me! (obviously read all instructions thoroughly before use)

If you have an spot cures pleaaaase leave them in the comment box below!!

E.L.F - Amazing Value!!!!

So i recently discovered a new make up brand called E.L.F - Eyes Lips Face online! It is amazing value! I cannot believe how many products i received for the small price i paid!

I have to say that some of their products are just as good as the expensive brands if not better!

I must admit i was a tad dubious at first but i thought why not! I went ahead and ordered a few basic things and thought if i liked them i would go back and order more products when i have the money. I definitely will be buying more from there, and not just the basics!

Here are a few of the products i ordered....

Dual eyesahdow cream in sugar cookie! £1.50! Great for that shimmering subtle look, and works perfect for a base for powder eyeshadow too!

Studio Stipple brush - £3.50!! Bargain! This brush can be used for contouring, highlighting, applying powder, foundation etc! I found it is absolutely amazing to apply foundation with! Covers all my bad skin areas and you don;t need to use a lot of foundation! I found that i used half as much in an application as i used to with my clinique foundation brush!!

Eyeliner and shadow stick - perfect for creating that smokey eye effect - £3.50
Studio matte eyeshadow - £3.50 - It comes with its own individual brush!! I have yet to try this one out yet!

Eyelash and Eyebrow wand - £1.50 - perfect for tidying up the eyebrows and perfecting that fluffy almost want to touch mascara and no clumps!!

Brush shampoo - £3.50 Great to clean the brushes and so cheap! Not as harsh as soap! Leaves the brushes soft!
Studio makeup mist & set - £3.50 - Great to hold makeup in place! My makeup definitely lasts a lot longer when i use this!

Thank you for reading! If any of you have bought other products from E.L.F and think they are worth the money please let me know so i can trial them out!!

Gossip girl - Serena Van der Woodsen/Blake Lively

I have to say i have a mini crush on Blake Lively, she always looks so well put together, but at the same time effortless! She always looks amazing on and off screen so here are a few of my favourite looks from the recent episodes and her in real life!

This is Blake in the last episode, i love the sun-kissed skin and beach waves, paired with minimal make up , a floral print top and denim jacket, the ultimate summer staple look!

I chose this photo because i absolutely LOVE Blake's hair in this photo especially the colour!

Another great look, i love the applique detail!

Classic Serena

This dress is gorgeous, I am actually in LOVE with it, ticks all the trends ATM - see through maxi skirt, applique detail, White, Flowers! AMAZING - i love her hair too.

I chose this one because i love the clashing fabrics/prints with the ruffle skirt and floral top.

This dress is beautiful - emphasises Blakes curves! and i love the volumous hair! A tad similar to Miss Middleton!

Yet again a stunning dress! she rocks it in white, i love the sheerness of the dress, and the embellishment!

Well I hope you enjoy, comment on what you think of the outfits!!
